Born on April 24, 1987 Varun Dhawan is the son of director David Dhawan. This two-film year old actor started his career by assisting Karan Johar on My Name is Khan in 2010 along with Sidharth Malhotra and the two hotties went on to star in KJo’s dramedy Student of The Year in 2012. Varun also received a nomination for Filmfare’s Best Male Debut.

A lot of people don’t know that Varun is trained in business management and he also worked as a model for a while. Varun is the closest to his brother, the Desi Boyz director Rohit Dhawan and he is fondly addressed as Pappu by his daddy. Jr Dhawan wanted to become a wrestler when he was young and is a great fan of the wrestler turned actor Rock.

Anushka Sharma who was missing from the wrap up party of Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet last week has been shooting in Jodhpur for her maiden production – NH10. The Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi babe ventured into production with NH10 and has been constantly shooting in Jodhpur for the same. The film is being made by Navdeep Singh, director of the acclaimed Manorama Six Feet Under.

As per the latest update, NH10 was hit by a sandstorm recently, however there were no injuries reported and everyone on the sets is safe. The Jab Tak Hai Jaan actor tweeted confirming the news. “We encountered a massive sand storm on d set of #NH10 yesterday.Very scary.But everyone is OK.Just very dirty & sandy(if tat’s even a word) (sic).”.........
