Karisma Kapoor is Akshay Kumar's lucky charm:
Even though Akshay Kumar made his debut opposite Shanti Priya in Saugandh (1991), the
first film he ever signed on paper was with Karisma Kapoor.
However, the film titled Deedar (1992) released after his debut. Karisma and Akshay then went on
to star in almost a dozen films, akshay-kumar-s-lucky-charm is.dput Suhaag (1994), Jaanwar (1999)
and Mere Jeevan Saathi (2006).
Although they haven’t worked together for seven years now, their camaraderie clearly remains
intact. And that was evident on January 8, when Karisma visited Akshay on the sets of Gabbar.
“It was a surprise for Akshay when Karisma met up with him on the first day of the shoot.
They have always been close friends. Another common thread happens to be Shabina.............
