Whatever happened to the Mohabbatein stars?
Three boys from different places and different backgrounds enter Gurukul and become the best of friends. The three of them find love in three pretty girls. But life in Gurukul is not easy. Love in Gurukul is forbidden. Somehow these six youngsters find a way and unite overcoming all barriers and crossing every boundary.
This is the story of Mohabbatein. A YRF film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai and six newcomers of the industry. The film dates back to 2000. The film became a major hit.
The film starred six newcomers and their roles were brilliant- relatable and fresh. It was but obvious that such talent was going to rule the industry soon. Six talented youngsters (read good looking) were all set to make their grand entry into Bollywood. But luck had other plans!
None of those six youngsters made it big in Bollywood. NONE! Most of them were just 2 or 3 film wonders. And the others are still..STILL..struggling. Here are those six Mohabbatein stars who are no where to be seen!
UDAY CHOPRA:
Uday Chopra, the Dhoom star, plays the role of Vicky. Vicky is a street smart guy who knows how to have his way. He falls for Ishika (Shamita Shetty) and tries to woo her. Uday Chopra has done comparatively better than all his co-stars, all thanks to his daddy’s big banner!!
SHAMITA SHETTY:
She plays the role of Ishika Dhanrajgir. She falls in love with Vicky (Uday Chopra). Shamita Shetty plays the role of a rich spoil brat who lives in the hostel opposite Gurukul. Shamita Shetty won the award for best debutant. Sadly, ever since none of her films clicked! She was only known for her controversies ..........
