Although critics and fans have given mixed reviews for the film, but 'Highway' is still marching ahead of the other release this weekend, 'Darr at the Mall'.

On the second day of its release, 'Highway' has witnessed a slight growth, having minted Rs.4.5 crore, according to a leading portal.

The performance of the Alia-Randeep starrer so far has been decent, considering the fact that it released only in around 700 screens in India.

Written and directed by Imtiaz Ali, 'Highway' has Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda in lead roles. The film's music has been composed by Oscar-winner AR Rahman.
