Makers of the movie said that it is the story of a normal guy set in the city of Mumbai. There are no fantasy elements in that film. Neither is it based on any Gujarati play nor on a novel
Actor Imran Khan revealed about this movie on the set of the seventh season of "Kaun Banega Crorepati". After the movie Gori Tere Pyaar Mein' Imran Khan is all set to play main lead in his another movie titled Bhavesh Joshi.
