That Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Juhi Chawla, who will share the screen space for the very first time in the upcoming film, Gulaab Gang, were once considered as arch rivals is a stale fact. Even Juhi confessed to it by saying that she considered Mrs Nene a competition in their times. In her interviews, the Bhootnath actor has said that the reason she and Madhuri probably did not work together was because there was lot of competition between female actors at that time. “I would say that earlier there were a few chances when we could have worked together, but at that time I didn’t do the film because Madhuri was there in the films. I thought if she is there, then what would I do? Comparisons were bound to happen, so to avoid all that tension, I didn’t do those films,” said Juhi in a recent interview. .........
