Barun Sobti is an Indian model, Television actor and now is venturing into Bollywood. He belongs to a Punjabi Sikh family from Delhi. He has worked as an operation manager at Jindal Telecom for 7 years before entering into entertainment industry. He got married to Pashmeen Manchanda on 12 December 2010. His career was launched from the STAR Plus television series Shraddha. He became popular with the STAR Plus's romantic drama Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? where he played the character of Arnav Singh Raizada (ASR) opposite Sanaya Irani. Now he is entering in the bollywood and his two films Main Aur Mr.Right and 22 Yards are slated to go on floors soon. Barun Sobti rose seven places from last year to third place on the Eastern Eye newspaper's renowned list of the 50 Sexiest Asian Men In The World. Despite being off-screen since he left hit TV serial to pursue a movie career in 2012.
