After Choli ke peeche, Subhash Ghai comes up with Kambal ke neeche for Kaanchi – Watch video!

The showman has taken raunchy lyrics to a completely new level. Read on to know…

The latest song from Subhas Ghai’s Kaanchi Kambal ke neeche, has taken raunchy lyrics to a new high. The song has been sung by Neeti Mohan and has been featured on her sisters, Shakti Mohan and Mukti Mohan. The song has used all possible Bollywood lyrics and amalgamated them into a song, which is seemingly more cheesy than any other item number ever. The song also features Mahima Chowdhury in a cameo appearance. It also has Rishi Kapoor and Chandan Roy Sanyal in it.

The making describes the thought process behind making the song. It shows the ideologies of the director, lyricist Irshad Kamil, music composer Ismail Darbar. The song has been specially choreographed song under the tutelage of Ganesh Acharya. Innuendos are galore in this song. Ghai has used catchy phrases from his erstwhile films to take the connotation to the naughty level..........

Kaanchi quick movie review: Subhash Ghai’s Mishti is no Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Ghai returns to film making with Kaanchi after a long break:

A lot has been already said about Subhash Ghai’s Kaanchi much before the film released. Ghai renamed Indrani Chakraborty as Mishti for his film that has released today. Our enthusiastic critic Srishti Dixit is watching the film at a theatre right now and she has sent us her first impressions of the film.

Srishti says, ” Random doesnt begin to define the first half of Kaanchi. Mishti walks straight talks like she has a speech impediment. Unimpressive so far. The actor who plays Binda has great potential and the supporting cast that consists of Chandan Roy Sanyal, Rishi Kapoor ...........

Kangana Ranaut to fight Rajeev Khandelwal and Mishti Mukherjee in theatres this Friday

Come Friday, three films – Revolver Rani, Samrat & Co and Kaanchi will clash at the box office. But which flick will race ahead in the numbers game, only time will tell:

After Queen, Kangana Ranaut is back at the box office as Revolver Rani and she would battle it out with musical Kaanchi and thriller Samrat & Co. for the top honours when the threesome hit the screens on Friday.

Kangana loves to push the envelope by stepping into unconventional roles and she continues the trend with Revolver Rani, which sees her in a never-seen-before avatar of a don shooting guns and mouthing dialogues in profane language.

With her brilliant performance in Queen, Kangana not only raised the bar for her contemporaries but for herself too thus raising fans’ expectations from her. Debutant director Sai Kabir describes her character as “ugly” and non-glamorous............

How did Mishti Mukherjee beat Richa Chaddha, Ankita Shorey, Madalsa Sharma and Pooja Salvi to become Subhash Ghai’s Kaanchi?

It took ages for the showman to find his Kaanchi. Watch video to know why…

Kaanchi has been in the making for a long time now. It is supposed to be Subhash Ghai’s comeback film after a long hiatus. Although the lead couple are rumoured to be dating, it took ages for Ghai to find the right Kaanchi for the film. Mishti Mukherjee was a surprise find for Subhash and when she was called for the auditions and look tests she was completely unaware of the fact that she was defeating popular B-Town heroines in the race.

In the video we get to see that Mishti defeated leading heroines like Richa Chadda (Gangs Of Wasseypur, Fukrey), Madalsa Sharma (Samrat & Co.), Pooja Salvi (Nautanki Saala) and many other TV heroines to win the coveted title of Kaanchi. She even defeated ex-Miss India Ankita Shorey, in the race and emerged winner finally.........

Kaanchi song Thumka: Rishi Kapoor fails miserably while recreating his younger days

The Subhash Ghai film is slated to release on April 25, 2014:

The makers of Kaanchi are out with the party song of the season and trust us there is nothing wrong with the song, apart from the fact that Rishi Kapoor is seen trying to shake a leg just like he used to do in his younger days. However, he fails pathetically. Rishi Kapoor seems to be remembering his Bachna ae haseeno and Om Shanti Om days too much that he agreed to shake a leg for such a song. If we recall his Shah ka rutba presentation from Agneepath was really awesome, but his attempt in Thumka falls flat on his face...........

Debutant Mishti's charisma in Kaanchi title track

The makers of "Kaanchi" have released the movie's title track "Kaanchi Re Kaanchi".

The song has been shot in rural localities and it exhibits the fearless and cheerful life of the lead character Kaanchi, played by debutante Mishti, in her village, said a statement.

With upbeat vocals by Sukhwinder, and lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil, the song wonderfully captures Mishti's charisma and composer Ismail Darbar's soulful music.
"Kaanchi" is directed by Subhash Ghai. It chronicles the story of an innocent rural beauty and her fight against power.

Slated to release April 25, the movie also features Rishi Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, Kartik Aaryan, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Rishabh Sinha.
