Ranbir not playing lead in Bollywood’s first vampire film ‘Bloody Veer’

Delhi in a Day director Prashant Nair, who is writing the script for Bollywood's first vampire film Bloody Veer:
                                             
said he is trying to reinvent the supernatural concept to suit Indian audiences instead of just copying from Hollywood. The film is being produced by Siddharth Jain of iRock Media and will be directed by Heeraz Marfatia, a long time associate of Shekhar Kapur.

"Bloody Veer is going to be India's first mainstream vampire film. It's a coming of age story, but it's extremely Bollywood - there are song, dance and action sequences. Instead of just trying to copy from the West, I am looking through Indian mythology and culture to reinvent the concept of vampire so that it works in India," Prashant told PTI. Titli (2014 film) Bollywood upcoming Movie

Titli (English: Butterfly) is an upcoming 2014 Bollywood drama film directed by Kanu Behl and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films and Dibakar Banerjee Productions Pvt. Ltd:

      

 It features actors Ranvir Shorey, Amit Sial, Shashank Arora, Lalit Behl and Shivani Raghuvanshi in the lead roles. The International sales partner is Westend Films The release date is yet undecided.

The directorial debut film was selected to take part in the Un Certain Regard section of the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. The only other Indian film selected for the year was an animation short.

Plot

Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit to play former Indian PM Indira Gandhi

Former Bollywood queen Madhuri Dixit will play Indira Gandhi, India's first and only female prime minister, in a biopic, according to reports in the Indian media:

                           

Mother: The Indira Gandhi Story will be directed by Asian-American filmmaker Krishna Shah with filming scheduled to start in mid 2010.
"I have followed Indira Gandhi's life through media, books and critics. It's such an exciting and dramatic story. I want the future generation to know her story. “Shooter is a Stylish Flick” – Randeep Hooda

Randeep Hooda, who is doing Vishram Sawant’s next Shooter, says that there are no compromises as far as maintaining a realistic approach is concerned, yet Shooter is a very stylish flick:



As the title suggests Randeep plays a shooter in the film. Speaking about the film, Randeep says, “It starts off as an underworld film. It’s about poor people based in Mumbai who turn criminals and how they become criminals who eventually end up doing something far more patriotic than any of us educated, rational people with money would ever dare to do. It’s a larger-than-life character with a fair bit of entertainment.”

This will be Randeep’s third film with Vishram Sawant, the first two being D and Risk. “We have a very different understanding between us............

Housefull 3 to release in April 2014

There will be a Housefull every two years… The first one was out in April 2010, Housefull 2 will open in April 2012 and Housefull 3 will arrive in April 2014,” promises director Sajid Khan, but is quick to add that the films will not be sequels:

Pointing out that a sequel takes off where the last film ended, he says that in the case of Housefull, subsequent films will only be centered around a big house and confusion galore. “They will be different stories with new characters and actors. Only the two Sajids — producer Sajid Nadidawala and me —will remain constant.
