Roshan Jr’s health issues and professional commitments had delayed Shuddhi, so much that the film had a complete makeover:



Deepika Padukone stepped into Kareena Kapoor Khan role in Shuddhi after the latter opted out of the film. Now we hear Deepika’s alleged beau Ranveer Singh has been roped in to play the part that was to be originally portrayed by Hrithik Roshan. This is after reports suggested that Hrithik might just be back on the movie that he had politely turned down after much delay. Looks like we will get to watch the Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela jodi back onscreen together soon. HR’s loss has certainly proved to be Mr Singh’s gain, however we wonder if Dippy would have been happier to share screen space with Hrithik.........
