Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha starrer was expected to please the audience and going by the report, the film garnered 12.18 crore nett on its first day of release. Although Friday morning shows displayed low occupancy, the picture was better during evening shows.
'Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty' directed by A. R. Murugadoss was released across 3500 screens. It could not perform much better in single screens in Bihar, UP and Maharashtra, but the film was good in multiplexes. ..........\
