Sidharth Malhotra Biography and his personal life:
Sidharth Malhotra (born around 1985) is an Indian actor and former model. He made his film debut in Karan Johar's commercially successful dramedy Student of the Year, for which he received the nomination for Filmfare Best Male Debut. In addition to his acting career, Malhotra participates in stage shows and is a prominent celebrity endorser for brands and products. His off-screen life is the subject of fervent tabloid reporting in India.
Early life and modeling career:
Malhotra was born in Delhi. He did his schooling from 'Birla Vidya Niketan, Delhi'. While in college, he appeared in NIIT and Pantaloons commercials. He started modeling for Roberto Cavalli’s advertisement campaigns and appeared on the covers of several magazines including RedBook, Gladrags and Men’s Health. He quit the modeling industry to become an actor, prior to which, he was the assistant director of My Name Is Khan (2010)
Career:
In 2012, Malhotra made his debut in Karan Johar's Student of the Year alongside Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt His performance was appreciated by film critics.
