As matriarchs gather with their kin and celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday (May 11), a number of Hollywood’s new mommies are holding their babies close for the extra-special day of joy.
There’s an entirely new crop of famous gals who get to celebrate the holiday for the first time including Kim Kardashian, Kerry Washington and Duchess Kate Middleton.
Kerry Washington:
Keeping her exciting baby announcement under wraps, the “Scandal” beauty welcomed daughter Isabelle into the world in April 2014 with her husband Nnamdi Asomugha.
Olivia Wilde:
Olivia and fiancé Jason Sudeikis' son Otis Alexander arrived earlier than expected in April. The “Drinking Buddies” dame told press earlier this year that she was due on May 4, and remembered the date because of the Star Wars holiday: May the Fourth Be With You!
Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson:
Expanding her little family back in August, Fergie welcomed her first son Axl Jack with hunk hubby Josh Duhamel.
Kim Kardashian:
Creating quite the media frenzy, Kim gave birth to a beautiful daughter North West in July. This is the first child for her and fiancé Kanye West, who plan on getting married any day now.
Kate Middleton:
One of the biggest births this year definitely goes to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Kate and Prince William welcomed their first son Prince George in July after weeks of anticipation. The darling trio recently travelled around Australia and New Zealand for their first public tour with the little boy.
