Lady Gaga Cancels Shows Due to Bronchitis, Jokes Ursula Took Her "Mermaid Voice"

Little Monsters, don't weep: Lady Gaga is devastated enough 

The Grammy award-winning artist was set to take the stage in Seattle, Wash. tonight, but tweeted today —while apologizing profusely— that she must cancel that show as well as an upcoming Friday performance in Vancouver, British Columbia. 

Blaming the loss of her "mermaid voice" on Ursula, Ariel's voice-stealing nemesis in Disney's animated film The Little Mermaid (and a favorite of ours), Lady Gaga posted a fun pic of the spell-binding character along with her tweet. 

But the true cause of her break from touring is the lung condition bronchitis. 

The 28-year-old singer-songwriter may have called off this week of concerts at the last minute, but she promised to make it up to her fans when she's well, writing "My deepest apologies to Seattle and Vancouver, we'll reschedule those shows & be back to make it up to you. I ♥ monsters. #sadgaga" 

The pop princess may have been coming down with this illness earlier in the week. 

She was spotted leaving her New York apartment warmly snuggled up Sunday even though it was a reported 80 degrees that day. 

And although acute bronchitis comes on suddenly, it's oftenttimes caused by a cold or flu that a person has nursed for a while.

It's pretty obvious that Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney enjoy working up a sweat together. But Gaga's brand of exercise isn't for everybody. (Well, maybe it's for Victoria Beckham...) 

"We'll hike together," Taylor Kinney recently told Glamour about his longtime girlfriend. "I'm always giving her flak, like, 'Babe, you can't wear your heels when we're hiking.'" 

Considering Gaga's penchant for mile-high footwear, we wholeheartedly believe the Chicago Fire hunk. 

And when it's too hot to hike? Or too cold? Or when they just don't feel like hiking? 

"We've been painting a bunch lately, too," Kinney revealed. He played coy, however, when it came to what (or whom) exactly they've been painting. 

"I can't tell you—I'll have to leave it up to the imagination," the 32-year-old actor, who's also on the big screen in The Other Woman, said. "There's a lot of laughing. I think that's the basis of a healthy relationship. We laugh a lot." 

So their recent selfie-taking session would suggest. 

Asked how he and his eccentric superstar love keep it together in the spotlight's glare, Kinney said simply, "I have no desire to talk about rumors. But I think we just complement each other. I'm proud of her, and I'd like to believe she's proud of me. We're kindred spirits." 

As for Gaga, "I'm just really happy," she told Howard Stern in November regarding her relationship. 

"I am lucky to be with somebody that has a great job...We don't have any rules about calling each other at certain times. We'll go days at a time without talking," she explained. 

"Then we'll talk every day. The way that it really works is, we trust each other. He's on his journey, and I'm on mine., and we're gypsies—and then when we're together we're really in love."

Gaga, 28, has been dating her Chicago Fire love, 32, since 2012. And while you'd think Mother Monster had a thing for bad boys, Taylor doesn't quite fit that bill. "It's not hard playing the good guy," he said Thursday on Good Morning America. "I think there's an allure of the bad guy, trying to change him or remedy amy mishaps he might have..." 

But when GMA's Amy Robach asked Taylor if he was a "good guy in real life," he answered emphatically, "Of course!" 

So just how does Gaga's beau stay humble and sweet despite all this fame? "I get out [of Hollywood] as much as possible," he said with a laugh. "And I had a good mom."

She’s no stranger to strange situations, so when Lady Gaga found out she needed to have her wisdom teeth extracted, she decided to give her Little Monsters a look. 

The “Born This Way” babe tweeted a selfie on Thursday (April 17) following the procedure, and she was admittedly feeling fine thanks to some prescription painkillers. 

Gaga wrote, “Wisdom teeth out. P-p-Percocet p-p-p-Percocet,” followed by, “Chipmunk Cheeks… Wisdom Teeth out before tour. I can’t eat. I’m gonna put some meatballs in a blender.” 

And given Ariana Grande’s recent dental surgery and Miley Cyrus’ continued hospitalization, it seems many of our favorite singers are laid up as of late!

Lady Gaga threatens to sue ex if he reveals life secrets

Lady Gaga might sue her ex-beau Rob Fusari if he dares to reveal secrets of her pre- fame life. 

RadarOnline reported that Fusari recently begged a judge to seal documents that he had filed in a new lawsuit regarding his relationship, as Gaga could sue him. Fusari is currently involved in a lawsuit with the singer's friend Wendy Starland and filed a separate motion asking the judge to seal the items, so that Gaga will not make him pay "heavy monetary penalties." 



The new court documents states that, he and Gaga have specifically bargained for a strict non-disparagement clause and if they are made public, the new documents may constitute a breach thereof. The current situation is an outcome of the lawsuit filed by Fusari when he sued her back in 2010 for 30.5 million dollars.

Sometimes the visual artist working on the song likes a certain sequence so much that it creeps into their work. I feel that's what happened with Baby Doll too."
