Mary-Kate Olsen reportedly rejected Olivier Sarkozy's first proposal. The 27-year-old star has sparked rumours she's engaged to her beau after she was spotted wearing a ring last week, but a friend of the couple admits the French banker, 44, popped the question months ago and the blonde beauty turned him down at the time. 

A source told Us Magazine: ''He tried about a year ago, and she wasn't ready. She didn't need to be wined and dined. She wanted to make sure he would be good to her.'' 

The couple - who first started dating in 2012 - are also reportedly ''talking about trying to get pregnant''. 

However, the former child star won't have any problems adapting to motherhood as she is already close to Olivier's children Julien, 12, and Margot, 10, whom he has with his ex-wife Charlotte Bernard. 

A source said previously: ''Mary-Kate has made him a better father. She remembers all the kids' special events. She thinks he's a great dad.''

Kristin Chenoweth suffers with asthma

Kristin Chenoweth suffers with asthma. The 'Glee' star has revealed she's been battling the respiratory condition for over a decade, and she believes the disorder was made worse by living in New York City. 

She said: ''I haven't really discussed the fact that I do suffer from asthma. I kept getting sick and couldn't figure out why I couldn't get my breath... that's kind of my asthma journey, if you will.'' 

However, the 45-year-old actress admits it took a while for the condition to be diagnosed correctly and she initially thought she was suffering from bronchitis and other respiratory issues. 

She explained to The Associated Press: ''It was only after going to LA to do 'Bewitched' and 'The West Wing' that I really got sick. But I wasn't diagnosed with asthma. It wasn't until I was doing the television series, 'Pushing Daisies,' that my doctor in Oklahoma diagnosed me.''

Leah Remini is to star in her own reality TV show. The 'Kings of Queens' actress, who quit Scientology last year, has been given 12 half-an-hour episode slots by TLC for her untitled programme, which began filming today (05.03.14). 

Nancy Daniels, TLC's manager, said: ''Leah is a no-nonsense, hard-working, relatable mum, wife, daughter, and sister. Her sharp humour and unfiltered family are a perfect match for the network.'' 

The 43-year-old star will be joined by her husband Angelo - whom she has been married to for 10 years - and their feisty nine-year-old daughter Sofia, who ''isn't afraid to keep her parents in check.'' 

The cameras will also capture Leah's opinionated mother, Vicky Marshall, unconventional father, George Remini, and her sister Nicole, who all talk in a secret coded language. 

There will also be cameo appearances from Leah's housekeeper and personal assistant, and Sofia's impatient British nanny. 

Meanwhile, the brunette beauty hit the headlines last year after she dumped her religious organisation following years of abuse for questioning the actions of the Church leader, David Miscavige. 

However, Leah is determined to ensure people see her for who she really is, rather than be known as a ''bitter ex-Scientologist''.

Guardians of the Galaxy is an upcoming American science fiction superhero film based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is intended to be the tenth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is written and directed by James Gunn, with a story by Gunn and Nicole Perlman, and features an ensemble cast including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Producer Kevin Feige first publicly mentioned Guardians of the Galaxy as a potential film in 2010, and Marvel Studios announced that the film was in active development at the San Diego Comic-Con International in July 2012. Gunn entered negotiations to write and direct the film that August. In February 2013, Pratt was hired to play Peter Quill, and the supporting cast was filled out over the next several months. Filming began in July 2013 at Shepperton Studios, England with filming continuing in London before wrapping up in October 2013. The film is scheduled to be released on August 1, 2014, and will be released in 3D.

I, Frankenstein (Movie)

I, Frankenstein is a 2014 Australian-American fantasy action film written and directed by Stuart Beattie, based on the graphic novel and original screenplay by Kevin Grevioux. It stars Aaron Eckhart, Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, Socratis Otto, Jai Courtney and Kevin Grevioux. 

In 1795, Dr. Victor Frankenstein (Aden Young) creates a monster (Aaron Eckhart), a soulless creature patched together from corpses, and then rejects it. In a fit of rage, the creature kills Frankenstein's wife, Elizabeth (Virginie Le Brun), and Victor chases it to the Arctic to get revenge, but succumbs to the weather. The creature buries his creator and is then attacked by demons, before being rescued by gargoyles Ophir and Keziah, who bring it before the gargoyle queen, Lenore (Miranda Otto), and their commander, Gideon (Jai Courtney). Lenore explains that they were created by the Archangel Michael to battle demons on Earth and protect Humanity, and names the creature "Adam", inviting him to join them, but he declines and departs after being given weapons that allow him to "descend" demons, destroying their bodies and trapping their souls in Hell, as they have the symbol of the Gargoyle Order carved on them. 

Throughout the centuries, Adam fends off the demons that pursue him. During a modern-day confrontation at a nightclub, a Human policeman is killed. While Adam is summoned by the gargoyles once more, the demon Helek (Steve Mouzakis) reports that Adam is alive to his leader, the demon-prince Naberius (Bill Nighy), who is disguised as billionaire businessman Charles Wessex, and his right-hand man, Dekar (Kevin Grevioux). Wessex has employed scientist Terra Wade (Yvonne Strahovski) to conduct experiments with reanimated corpses, and sends a group of demons led by his most formidable warrior, Zuriel, to attack the gargoyles' cathedral and capture Adam so he can unlock the secret to give life. 

Before Lenore can punish Adam for the policeman's death, the cathedral is attacked, and Adam convinces Ophir to release him. In the ensuing battle, a number of gargoyles, including Ophir and Keziah, are "ascended" - returned to and trapped in Heaven - while Lenore is captured and brought to an abandoned theatre. Adam and Gideon head there, where Gideon exchanges Lenore for Victor Frankenstein's journal, containing the secrets of the experiment. Adam follows Zuriel to the Wessex Institute, where he learns that Naberius plans to recreate Frankenstein's experiment and create thousands of reanimated corpses, as the souls of the descended demons will be able to return from Hell if they have soulless bodies to possess. Adam retrieves the journal and escapes, and later confronts Terra before they are attacked by Zuriel, whom Adam manages to descend. 

Adam warns the remaining gargoyles of Naberius' plan, and Lenore sends Gideon to kill him and retrieve the journal. After a violent fight, Adam is forced to ascend Gideon and then decides to burn Frankenstein's journal and destroy its secrets before the gargoyles come after him. Adam evades them, leading them to the Wessex Institute, where they join battle with Naberius' demons, descending Dekar early in the fight. While the battle progresses, Adam ventures into the Institute to rescue Terra, who had been kidnapped by Naberius, who takes his true demonic form and activates the machine. Naberius tries to have one of the demon spirits possess Adam, but he proves immune as he has earned himself a soul. As the gargoyles attempt to stop the reanimated demons, Adam battles Naberius and carves the symbol of the Gargoyle Order on him, sanctifying his very body and utterly destroying it, descending Naberius alongside all the other demons in his army, and causing the entire building to collapse. 

Recognizing Adam's bravery, Lenore rescues him and Terra and forgives Adam for Gideon's death. Adam retrieves his weapons and, after bidding farewell to Terra, departs to begin an immortal quest to protect the Humans of the world and hunt demons for selfless reasons, the attitude that had earned him his soul in the first place. Angels in Stardust, is the story of Vallie Sue, a teenage girl with an imagination as restless and expansive as the western horizon into which she longs to disappear. Surrounded by an odd collection of characters, including a neglectful mother, mysterious Indian and an imaginary (or is he?) cowboy friend, Vallie Sue's search for her identity and place in this strange corner of the universe is kicked into overdrive when she runs afoul of some local bad guys. 

Vallie Sue's mind bubbles like a stew kettle full of stories and fantasies, including an imaginary alter ego, her favorite movie star, "The Cowboy". She converses with him in her refuge: The run-down playground beside the weathered old movie screen. From a distance, it appears she's talking to herself, but we see what only she sees: The Cowboy up on the screen, shootin' the breeze with her out along the wide-open plains. She's got a heap of characters to ruminate on as well: Tammy, her self-absorbed mother, hot to trot on a mission of security and gratification; Pleasant, her feisty, slow-witted brother; Loretta and Francine, a couple of wild teenage friends; Tenkill, the mysterious Indian caretaker of the property; and Mickey and Old Ray, two local losers, up to their eyeballs in evil ways. 

Vallie Sue struggles for purpose in this shoal of contrary currents. She's pulled between the spiritual ministrations of church revivals and the temptations of young bucks at the Two Kiss Drive-Up. She's puzzled by her mother's distaste for Tenkill alongside her brother's fascination with him and she's oppressed by her poor environment while aspiring to become a writer. 

This story is a curious combination of fantasy and reality. On the one hand, there's the raw reality of Vallie's self-serving mother, the precocious pack of teenage townies and the dangerous neighbors. On the other hand, there's the mythical world of an Imaginary Cowboy, Tenkill's animated stories of Indian legend, and the numerous incarnations of Vallie's fertile mind. It is at times intense and serious, yet oddly charming and humorous.

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (Movie)

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit is a 2014 American action thriller film, directed by and co-starring Kenneth Branagh and featuring the Jack Ryan character created by Tom Clancy. It is the fifth in the Jack Ryan film series and is also a reboot that departs from the previous installments. Unlike its predecessors it is not an adaptation of a particular Tom Clancy novel, but rather an original story. Chris Pine stars in the title role, becoming the fourth actor to play Ryan, following Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, and Ben Affleck. It was released on January 17, 2014. The film is dedicated to Tom Clancy, who died on October 1, 2013. 

After the events of 9/11, Jack Ryan (Pine), studying at the London School of Economics, becomes a Marine second lieutenant in Afghanistan, where he is critically injured when his helicopter is shot down. During a lengthy rehab, he attracts the attention of Dr. Cathy Muller (Knightley), a physician, and William Harper (Costner), an official with the CIA. 

Ten years later, Ryan is working on Wall Street with a cover job as a compliance officer at a stock brokerage, and as a covert CIA analyst, looking for suspect financial transactions that would indicate terrorist activity. When the Russian Federation loses a key vote before the United Nations, Ryan notices that the markets do not respond in the expected way. He discovers that trillions of dollars held by Russian organizations have disappeared. A large number of these funds are controlled by Viktor Cherevin (Branagh), a veteran of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Cherevin, along with a group of key Russian politicians, have been left embittered by the United States' covert intervention in the invasion and are seeking revenge. 

Ryan's employer happens to do business with Cherevin, so when Ryan discovers certain accounts are inaccessible to him as auditor, he has reason to visit Moscow and investigate. On arrival he narrowly survives a murder attempt by an assassin posing as his bodyguard. Ryan sends out an SOS and is surprised to learn that his backup is Harper. 

During their debrief, Ryan explains how Cherevin's shadow investments can make the United States vulnerable. A staged terrorist attack would spook and weaken global markets including U.S. debt obligations. Then, Cherevin would dump all his inventory onto the market at once, causing the American dollar to collapse. It would also hurt China as well due to the country's dollar holdings, which in turn would trigger a new Great Depression. 

At his frosty meeting with Cherevin the next day, he is told that the problem company and all of its assets have been sold, thus stopping Ryan's audit. Meanwhile, Ryan's fiancée Muller, concerned he may be having an affair, secretly flies to Moscow to meet him. Against protocol for unmarried couples, Ryan reveals that he works for the CIA, to her great relief. Improvising on the situation, Harper has Muller agree to be included in a plan to infiltrate Cherevin's offices. Ryan and Muller meet Cherevin at an upscale restaurant across the street from Cherevin's office. Over dinner, Ryan causes a scene and purposely insults Muller. Excusing himself, he gains access to Cherevin's office where he downloads critical corruption files. Cherevin, alerted to Ryan's infiltration, abducts Muller. Ryan rescues her, but Cherevin maintains that Ryan cannot stop his plan. 

Ryan and the CIA discover Cherevin used a falsified death certificate to place his son, Aleksandr (Utgoff), in the United States as a sleeper agent. Ryan uses his talent for pattern recognition to locate Aleksandr's hideout and intended target, Wall Street. He locates a bomb hidden in an improvised police response vehicle and gives chase. Unable to defuse it, he hijacks the vehicle and crashes it into the East River, killing Aleksandr and preventing the loss of any innocent life. 

Ryan and Muller are reunited and discuss their future together. Muller decides to stay with him despite his career and the risks he has to take. Cherevin is executed by his co-conspirators in Russia, while Ryan, now married, and Harper are called to the White House to brief the president....Read more

That Awkward Moment (released in Australia as Are We Officially Dating?) is a 2014 American romantic comedy film written and directed byTom Gormican in his directorial debut. The film stars Zac Efron, Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Imogen Poots, Mackenzie Davis, and Jessica Lucas. The film had its Los Angeles premiere on January 27, 2014, and it was widely released on January 31 in the United States. 

The film opens with Jason (Zac Efron) sitting on a bench in New York City waiting for someone to arrive. A voiceover explains that he has been waiting for a long time, but to explain why, he needs to go back to the beginning. Jason begins by telling the audience that every relationship reaches the "So…" moment, where someone in the relationship will want to take the relationship to a more serious place. At that point, Jason knows the relationship is over, as he is not ready to start dating. Jason is currently working with his best friend Daniel (Miles Teller) at a publishing house, designing book covers. Their friend, Mikey (Michael B. Jordan), a young doctor who has been married to Vera (Jessica Lucas) since the end of college, comes to them after Vera requests a divorce. The three decide to go out to the bar to celebrate being single. The group meets up with Daniel's female wingman, Chelsea (Mackenzie Davis), as they try to get Mikey's mind off of his wife. Mikey meets a girl with glasses (Kate Simses), while Jason meets Ellie (Imogen Poots), and hits it off with her after teasing another man that was trying to buy her a drink. Mikey gets the girl's number, but decides not to call, resolving to work it out with his wife. Jason sleeps with Ellie, but escapes her apartment when he discovers circumstantial evidence that she may be a prostitute. 

The next day, Jason and Daniel make a book cover pitch to a new author, who happens to be Ellie. Jason is able to explain himself and the two begin seeing each other on a regular basis, even teaming up to sneak into Gramercy Park after stealing a key to it by posing as potential residents of the neighborhood. Meanwhile, Daniel begins to fall for his wingman, Chelsea, and the two begin seeing one another. Additionally, Mikey meets with his estranged wife, and when she claims that the reason their marriage fell apart is because he is not spontaneous enough, Mikey kisses her, and the two sleep together in the hospital, reigniting their romance. All three friends attempt to keep their relationships a secret, due to their earlier agreement that they would stay single. The relationships all come to a head during Thanksgiving, a time that the three friends usually spend together, but varying circumstances keep them apart. Jason agrees to attend a funeral for Ellie's recently passed father, Mikey plans a Thanksgiving dinner with his wife, and Daniel attends the traditional Thanksgiving feast with Chelsea, free to openly tell the guests about their relationship. 

However, Jason ultimately decides not to attend the funeral, not ready to fully commit to Ellie, and their relationship falls apart. Mikey has a serious conversation with his wife during their dinner, causing her admit that she no longer loves him. Jason and Mikey head to the dinner where they discover Daniel's relationship with Chelsea, and when he denies that they are dating, his relationship falls apart as well. Although the three fight about keeping their relationships secret, they repair their friendship and try to recover their relationships. 

Mikey calls glasses girl from the bar, setting up a date, and Daniel reunites with Chelsea after being hit by a taxi and ending up in the hospital. However, two months later, Jason has still not reconciled with Ellie, despite still being in love with her. Mike and Daniel help Jason by encouraging him to tell her of his love at her weekly book readings, which are sparsely attended. However, upon their arrival, the reading is packed with people and Jason is unable to figure out a way to talk with her. He decides to make a scene by improvising a book reading, referencing their first meeting and requesting that they start over by meeting in Gramercy Park. The film reverts to the beginning scene, where Jason is waiting for Ellie in Gramercy Park. Ellie arrives and sits on the bench with him, where Jason starts their talk, beginning with, "So…"Read more
