Amole Gupte: Children inspire me and I really respect the world of the children

The man behind critically acclaimed children-centric films ‘Taare Zameen Par’ and ‘Stanley Ka Dabba’, says he never puts his young actors through the process of auditions:



Amole Gupte is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Hawaa Hawaai‘ that stars his National-award-winning son Partho Gupte and Saqib Saleem of ‘Bombay Talkies’. Based on inline speed skating, the sports film is slated to release on May 9. “I never audition any child and they also don’t test me, so that’s a great and a long lasting friendship. Children inspire me and I really respect the world of the children,” said Gupte. “It’s like a kingdom that I never want to leave because they are honest, transparent, they don’t judge you and I don’t judge them either,” he added.

While Partho plays a rural boy, who is new to the speed sport, Saqib would be seen in the role of a coach. Gupte said his film boasts a nail-bitting 20-minute-long climax. “The movie is about inner strength and living your dreams.........

Who does Saqib Saleem resemble– Aamir Khan or Shahrukh Khan?

The Hawaa Hawaai actor is being compared with two big stalwarts of Indian cinema – Aamir and SRK. Saqib is only happy that such parallels are drawn!



Saqib Saleem is certainly one of the most promising talents we have in the industry. The 26-year-old actor sparkled in his debut movie Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge. Later he only refined his acting prowess in movies such as Mere Dad Ki Maruti co starring Ram Kapoor and Rhea Chakraborty as well as in Bombay Talkies.

Saqib Saleem: Don’t mistake Hawaa Hawaai to be a children’s film

Actor Saqib Saleem has urged audiences to desist from looking at Hawaa Hawaai as a children’s film. ”What I can guarantee is that you will get a great content and real performances. Don’t mistake it to be a children’s film, a film that’s not meant for you. It is for everyone,” the 26-year-old said here Tuesday in an interview..........
