Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone’s Kochadaiiyaan delayed again, to release on May 23 – Read full statement!

The Southern megastar’s much-awaited film co-starring Ms Padukone will now release on May 23 instead of this Friday (May 9) :
                            

As reported by BollywoodLife earlier, Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone’s upcoming film Kochadaiiyaan has been delayed again. We were the first to tell you about the delay in release of Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin’s directorial debut, which will now hit the theatres on May 23 instead of May 9.  The makers (Eros International) have confirmed this development in a statement. “Eros International Media Ltd will release the eagerly awaited futuristic fantasy event of the year Kochadaiiyaan – The Legend, worldwide in cinemas on May 23, 2014,........

The makers of Kochadaiiyaan have come up with the video of the latest song of the film—Thandav. The song is an enchantment song which calls out to the lord Shiva and asking for rains. Rajinikanth dances just like we have heard lord Shiva dancing in the mythology books. The tune by AR Rahman is superb and epitomises the mystic feel.

Getting to the song, it is sung by an ensemble of singers, who have been termed as the Kochadaiiyaan ensemble. The passionate singing by the Kochadaiiyaan ensemble, however, fails to evoke that grandiosity of a battlefield. The Hindi trailer of southern superstar Rajinikanth’s much awaited film Kochadaiiyaan was Sunday launched by megastar Amitabh Bachchan here. “It’s very difficult to find words and put it together, but I would like to say that a woman has directed it. Soundarya has taken a step forward and proved women in India are capable of doing their best,” Amitabh said during the launch at a multiplex. “Rajinikanth and I are very close to each other. We are like family… we have worked together in many films and he has been very humble. When we get time off screen, we discuss life and cinema,” he said.............
